Job Description
The role is about developing and enhancing reliable software systems through backend engineering, automation, and performance improvements while collaborating with teams to deliver scalable technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Python technologies.
- Build and enhance APIs, system integrations, and application components within Linux environments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize systems to improve performance, stability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver solutions, participate in design discussions, and conduct code reviews.
- Support automation initiatives, CI/CD processes, and resolve production-related technical issues.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in software development with strong backend engineering knowledge.
- Hands-on expertise in Java, Python, Linux/Unix environments, and shell scripting.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs, backend services, and working with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong understanding of software development practices, troubleshooting, and problem-solving techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, DevOps practices, containerization, or distributed systems is preferred.
- Japanese skill: Native or JLPT N1
- English skill: Business
