Job Responsibilities

• Manage and update the crisis management program to ensure business service continuity and disaster recovery.
• Lead IT resources for IT service recovery actions and report statuses to the crisis management team.
• Coordinate the development of procedures and arrangements for disaster response to minimize losses and resume critical business functions within a defined time frame.
• Oversee the recovery of infrastructure at the Sapporo site in case of a disaster impacting Tokyo.
• Analyze risks for corporate functional areas to identify vulnerabilities.
• Ensure the identification and maintenance of records required for recovery.
• Coordinate IT staff across departments to validate DR-BCM recovery procedures.
• Review and manage the 24x7 threat management structure in collaboration with international teams.
• Plan and execute disaster recovery testing procedures to validate their effectiveness.
• Collaborate with global IT members to prepare for disaster scenarios in Japan.
• Provide stakeholder communications for crisis recovery management.
• Work with the CM&BC team to develop an efficient IT BCP&DR plan for business continuity.

Requirement

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing IT infrastructure within an ITIL framework.
• At least 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure business, excluding application programming.
• Proficiency with MS Windows and MS Office tools (minimum 10 years of usage).
• Comprehensive IT skills and knowledge gained through experience in IT departments or enterprise companies.
• A university degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
• Strong Japanese and English language skills for business communication, including reading, writing, and conversation.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills for summarizing and organizing information.
• Proven leadership and management abilities in IT infrastructure projects, businesses, or operations.
• Strong capability to unify and lead diverse teams within Japan and internationally.
